These courses prepare students for an entry level job as a Dental Assistant. Upon completion of all our RDA courses, graduates are eligible to sit for their Registered Dental Assistant Exam.

Registered Dental Assistants (RDA) are allowed to perform many more job duties than a Dental Assistant as well as earn a greater compensation than an unlicensed Dental Assistant (DA).

During these programs, students will learn the basics of Dental Assisting and earn 6 certifications CPR Certification:

  • Infection Control (8-hour)
  • Dental Law and Ethics
  • Coronal Polishing
  • Pit and Fissure Sealants
  • X-ray License

Students will learn how to work with General Dentists and well as Dental Specialists.

Students will also be provided with job placement assistance and test preparation for the RDA Licensing Exam.

Since our institution focuses on dental studies, we are able to offer our students the same course as larger colleges at a much lower cost. Our instructors have years of teaching experience. Our class sizes are small and our students receive plenty of one-on-one training.
All of our students will be given login access to their own student portal so that they can keep track of any school announcements, class news, their attendance, and grades.

Dental offices call us regularly looking for graduates to hire. With login access, our students are able to see VSDA’s Job Board. On this page, we list all current job openings.

Our RDA Programs are approved by the California Dental Board.
