Refunds and Cancellations

The student has the right to cancel the agreement and receives a full refund less $100 application fee before the first lesson and materials are received. Cancellation is effective on the date the written email notice of cancellation is sent to or by faxing a letter of cancellation to (818) 995-8632 or by mail to VSDA, 16500 Ventura Blvd. Suite 315 Encino, Ca. 91436.

“STUDENTS RIGHT TO CANCEL”, under which it is explained that the student has the right to cancel the enrollment agreement and obtain a refund of charges paid through attendance at the first class session, or the seventh day after enrollment, whichever is later. If the student has received federal financial aid funds the student is entitled to a refund of money not paid from the student financial aids program funds.



If a student chooses to with withdraw from a program after starting the program and attending classes the student will receive a prorated refund less cost of books, scrubs and $100 application fee. The prorated refund will be determined by a cost per class daily rate.  The cost per day will be calculated on the total cost of the program excluding any program discounts. If the student has attended more classes than the student has paid for then the student will be billed for the balance owed. There will be no refunds given for any attended classes.

For the purpose of determining a refund under this section, a student shall be deemed to have withdrawn from a program of instruction when any of the following occurs:
The student notifies the institution of the student’s withdrawal or as the date of the student’s withdrawal, whichever is later. The institution terminates the student’s enrollment for failure to maintain satisfactory progress; failure to abide by the rules and regulations of the institution; and/ or failure to meet a financial obligation to the school.
