Timeline

This is a 12-week course, meaning you will be completely prepared as a DA after spending three months learning from our experienced San Fernando Valley team. Over the course of the program, you will learn the ins and outs of dental law and ethics, along with receiving hands-on training to become certified in CPR and licensed in the authorization of X-rays. In a short time frame, you will become a dental assistant ready to make the transition into an actual office.

Job Responsibilities

Throughout the VSDA DA program, you will prepare for your future career by going through office exercises that emulate the responsibilities of professional dental assistants. This includes handing instruments to dentists as they operate on patients, sterilizing dental tools, scheduling appointments, making follow-up calls, conducting lab work, and interacting with patients.
