Dental Assistant for our dental office in Encino, CA

Job description:

We are currently seeking an experienced, full-time Dental Assistant to join our team. Dental Assisting experience is ESSENTIAL. You should also be willing to train the candidates in Dental Assisting as we grow.

As a dental assistant, you will work alongside general dentists and hygienists to provide exceptional patient care in a safe, friendly, and compassionate environment.

Job Duties (may vary):

Taking high quality diagnostic X-rays
Assisting the dentist and/or hygienist during procedures
Properly sterilizing and setting up operatories
Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Periodontal Charting and Notating patient records
-Entering diagnosed treatment to patients chart

Organizing treatment priorities based off Doctors diagnosis
Organizing and restocking dental supplies
Checking in and Checking out scheduled patients
Making financial arrangements for treatment through 3rd party financing companies
-Collecting payments

Making outbound calls to schedules patients as needed
-Verifying insurance as needed

-Auditing and preparing charts for the next days appointments

Requirements:

At least one year of experience in a dental office required.

We offer competitive pay of $17-25 per hour based on experience, with bonuses available based on performance.
