Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and versatile Dental Assistant to join our team in a hybrid role. This position requires someone comfortable splitting their time between chairside assisting (back office) and administrative patient care (front office). Key Responsibilities Back Office (Chairside): Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and set up trays, following all CDC/OSHA guidelines. Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures (4-handed dentistry), including restorations, crowns, and hygiene checks. Take high-quality digital dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral photos. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions. Front Office (Administrative): Welcome patients, manage the check-in/check-out process, and schedule appointments. Verify insurance benefits and enter patient information into practice management software (e.g., [Insert Software, e.g., Dentrix/Open Dental]). Handle billing, collect payments, and present treatment plans. |
