We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing high-quality oral healthcare to patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive patient experience and supporting the smooth operation of the dental office.

Required days – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Responsibilities –

Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and materials
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
Take and develop dental x-rays and intraoral images
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Perform laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming models

Skills –
Proficient in HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques for capturing accurate dental images
Proficiency in four-handed dentistry to assist efficiently during procedures
Understanding of dental practice operations and procedures
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong Communication skills and a friendly compassionate personality

Requirements:

High school Diploma or equivalent
Coronal Polishing Certification
X-ray certification
Bi-lingual is a plus
