Job Responsibilities:
Our dental assistants, or NINJAS (No I’m Not Just an Assistant), are the most trusted by the patients above any other role in the practice. We empower our dental assistants to build report, share their knowledge and expertise with the patients to gain their trust and make them feel at home in our office. You are the star of the appointment (other than the patient!), and the team is here to support you.
• Assist our doctors’ chairside through all general dental procedures.
• Taking digital x-rays, intra and extraoral photos (ability to educate patients from what is seen in x-rays/photos)
• Take impressions as well as digital impressions
• Sterilize instruments and turn rooms
• Track out going and in house lab cases going out and coming in, and ensure cases are ready for patient appointments
• Order supplies within budget
• Complete comprehensive exams chairside ( B.P , medical and dental history )
• Input treatment plan in order of procedures and time frames
• Post op follow ups for extensive cases
• Take responsibility for back office schedule
• Attend team huddles and educational events
